The Severn Trow

All our rooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with hairdryers, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and there is a TV, a safe and a supply of good books. You could hole up here for years! Mattresses are sprung with memory foam ensuring a wonderful nights sleep. Our house is 400 years old so our rooms are not huge - but they are interesting.

We provide complimentary toiletries in each room and our bathrooms all have power showers .... and warm fluffy towels.

All bookings include a full Shropshire breakfast served in our guests dining room. You also have access to a dedicated living room where you can sit and read or chat with other guests. Access to a mini kitchen (with microwave, toaster, fridge) is available to all guests from 10am onwards. We’re happy to provide you with tea and coffee making facilities in your room if you like, but you’re also welcome to help yourself here.

There is free parking at the back of the house and often on the street directly outside our guest lounge (the B+B entrance is level with Church Road). We have a lovely flowery patio at the front for you to sit out and enjoy watching village life go by. On warm mornings we’ll be happy to serve your breakfast out there if you like.

In terms of web access - well hey, you’re on holiday - leave the emails and web behind. But if you must go online - and we hope its just to listen to The Archers on the radio 4 website - then you can connect to our wireless free and easily. Just ask us for the password.

You will be asked for a 10% deposit on booking with the rest payable on day of departure by cash or cheque. We are sorry we do not at present accept credit or debit cards. As a small business committed to delivering value for money for our guests, the costs of processing are prohibitive.

If you cancel your stay more than 28 days in advance of your first reserved night we will return your deposit to you in full. If it is within 28 days we will retain your deposit as it might not be possible for us to relet your room. If we are able to relet your room we will return your deposit minus a small processing charge (£5.00).
